New Hampshire Conference Bureau Fam Trip
Our Senior Account Manager Andrea has the wonderful opportunity of joining a FAM trip to the beautiful New Forest. During the trip Andrea has the opportunity of viewing 5 completely wonderful and very different venues all available for corporate hospitality. As well as taking part in a morning of Sailing across the Solent with LYC Events who specialise in water team events.
Rhinefield House Hotel
Andrea’s first stop was at the 4* deluxe hotel Rhinefield House Hotel which is part of Hand Picked Hotels. This beautiful hotel has meeting spaces to suit all group sizes and large outdoor activity field for all sorts of fun team building, we can even run our motorised sports here which is a big plus.
Andrea and the other guests enjoyed a sumptuous private 3 course dinner in the main part of the hotel. The conference facility on site has it’s own separate entrance so can be completely separate to all other hotel guests.
The following morning the team were introduced to LYC Events who chartered 3 sail boats out from Lymington Yacht Haven across the Solent, taking in the sights of the Isle of Wight, the Needles and Hurst Castle.
Lunch was served at the 4* Careys Manor with its 77 bedrooms and award winning SenSpa. There was a wedding taking place on the day the group viewed the property and it was lovely to see the room laid out for this. Careys has a wonderful Spa which offers spa breaks with 19 treatment rooms.
Beaulieu Motor Museum
A quick coach journey then took the group Beaulieu Motor Museum where they enjoyed a private tour of the museum and viewed the vast array of meetings spaces around the venue. Beaulieu’s owner Lord Montagu has an impressive display of cars through the ages. The grounds also include the ruins of Beaulieu Abbey, where an impressive room The Domus can be hired for up to 150 guests. Palace House is the Ancestral home of the Montagu family and rooms here can also be hired out.
The Montagu Arms
A very short walk out of the grounds of Beaulieu took us to The Montagu Arms which is a delightful 4* hotel quintessentially British. Its award winning Terrace Restaurant uses fresh ingredients from its kitchen garden. Here the group were served a traditional afternoon tea provided by Head Chef Matthew Whitfield who was previously working in the three-Michelin-Star Eleven Madison Park in New York.
Balmer Lawn Hotel
The group were taken back to their respective hotels to freshen up ready for their final dinner and show round of the Balmer Lawn Hotel. Balmer Lawn is a family owned 4* hotel which saw a 3.95m refurbishment in 2017. It’s fresh and contemporary feel is definitely a hit along with the 2 AA Rosette Restaurant for fine dining. They even have a micro-brewery on site.
