Objective
To follow a morning meeting, the client was looking for a ‘Beautifully British’ team building event for 65 members of their leadership team from two offices. The location of the event also had to be between the two offices. Other than rewarding the staff with a fun and memorable event, the client wanted to ensure the employees from each office mixed and worked together.
Solution
In correlation with the client’s objectives, a number of venues and activities were suggested. The client settled for a Multi-Activity day at Fawsley Hall in Daventry. The event consisted of Duck Herding, Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and Rounders for the first half of the event and a competitive and entertaining School Sports Day for the afternoon which took place on the Cedar Lawn.
Following the morning meeting which was set up in the Salvin Longroom, the team enjoyed drinks, fruit and ice cream served on the terrace. After the first half of the event, guests were served a ‘Beautifully British’ afternoon tea. Throughout the event, they had unlimited cold soft drinks which they were very thankful for as it was 30 degrees!
Multi-activity days are a fantastic way to personalise your event, choosing from many different activities including the ones mentioned above and also archery, air rifle shooting, Segways, falconry, crossbows and rage buggies. We can combine as little or as many of these activities to engage the whole group. Participants can either enjoy the activities as one group or for larger groups, be divided up into teams and rotated around the activities – this creates the option to make the event competitive!
