Afternoon: The Crystal Challenge
On a sunny day in May, an intrepid team from SEERS Medical took on our crazy outdoor challenge event – The Crystal Challenge in the grounds of the stunning Copdock Hall. For the uninitiated, The Crystal Challenge has teams compete against each other in an exhilarating mix of physical and mental challenges to win as many crystals as possible. The finalists will enter the grand crystal dome and the team with the most gold tickets will win the Crystal Challenge.
We caught up with Charlotte Hoyle, Account Manager at SEERS Medical to answer our 1-minute review on the event and tell us a bit more about her highlights of the day.
Why did you consider Team building or Team development in the first place?
To build team morale within the whole workplace, encouraging members of staff from different areas of the business to mix and work together where they normally wouldn’t. And have a fun day altogether!
Why did you choose this event in particular?
We wanted an activity that was fun and engaging for everyone, all ages and abilities, without making anyone feel uncomfortable. We felt this had such a variety of activities for everyone to have a go at and encourage all members of staff to get involved with.
What is the 1 key element you’ve taken away from the experience?
Having fun and working together!
How did the team respond to the event? Any comments from them?
For the most part, everyone enjoyed the day, got involved and had fun. However for some it “wasn’t their thing”, but you, unfortunately, can’t please everyone!
What was the highlight of the event for you?
The team who ran the event! They were fantastic, the whole event was very well organised and from start to finish, everything was taken out of our hands and taken care of. The guys were friendly and fun and made the day full of laughs! Thank you very much 🙂
