Our client Corintech came to us looking for a fun team building event for a group of 14 delegates. The main objective for this event was to provide an activity that would excite and engage the team. The delegates were also having a training session before the event, so they wanted to incorporate part of this training into the activity.Objective
Solution
After quoting a series of different crime activities and venues the client decided on our Taken Experience at The Vault, Leadenhall, London. The Vault is a luxurious venue space set in the heart of the financial district and was originally home to diamonds and gold bullion.
Taken is an exciting experience where your CEO or Manager has been kidnapped and you must get them back before it is too late! It begins with a briefing from an Ex-Scotland Yard Detective, and viewing of evidence. Each team is then supplied with £50,000, electronic bugs and other necessary equipment.
This was a really fun activity to do as Corintech’s CEO wanted to be kidnapped for the event! The CEO decided to be kidnapped as he felt that this would really add to the impact of the event. We incorporated leadership skills into this activity which will benefit the delegates by increasing productivity and increase engagement amongst other things.

The Event
Your job is to rescue your kidnapped CEO and get him or her back before it’s too late! Our Taken Experience is based on the ability of any given team to rescue someone who has been kidnapped.
A Scotland Yard Detective will deliver a special brief to you, whereby you need to devise the most appropriate plan to recover your kidnapped CEO. You will develop ‘special skills’ through analysing various surveillance techniques and harbouring your hostage negotiation skills.
This event starts in a controlled environment, then your team building experience goes out of the building and into the murky world of crime. Each and every clue you find will take you to a particular location where you will be met by someone.
Each team will centre on the CEO and rescue him or her from further discomfort. A prize will be given to the winning team. The winning team will receive a prize at the conclusion of all the tasks.
