RAC attend 20/20 Networking Event at Victoria Embankment on The Bateaux.

The Bateaux
One of our intrepid Account Managers, Lauren Kirby, attended the recent 20/20 networking event hosted by Prestige Events. For those who aren’t sure what that is, The 20/20 Club “hosts various B2B speed networking events in a calendar year, each uniquely headlined with a different event theme which consequently brings together like-minded individuals from both sides of the buyer-supplier fence.”
Here is how the day unfolded in her own words:
The Location
The 20/20 event is something I urge everyone to go to as it offers a chance to meet top level venues and suppliers you may otherwise not speak with. On Thursday I was lucky enough to receive an invite!
This week’s event was located at Victoria Embankment on The Bateaux. Our hosts for the day were the fantastic in-house staff and catering team aboard. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch and a selection of wonderful cakes and pastries too (every networking event needs cake).
The recently renovated Bateaux looked every inch the updated space with its stunning glass conservatory areas allowing glorious views. This was especially beautiful on a sunny day in February and the weather was definitely on our side.
The event itself ran seamlessly, and credit to the 20/20 team is due. They are always friendly, attentive and ensure the networking and mingling is friction less.
The Crystal
One of the highlights of my time at the event was being introduced to The Crystal, a world class sustainable venue based in Victoria Dock, East London. It is and resonates with a core value of Right Angle Corporate Ltd. You can view our input to the Carbon Charter on our website here.
