The Union Jack Club has been standing at Waterloo for over 100 years and received over 20 million guests through its doors.
The founder of The Union Jack Club, Ethel McCaul, was Red Cross nurse who was adamant that servicemen and women from service ranks should have a haven for themselves in the Capital.
Ethel McCaul’s revelation remains The Union Jack Club’s primary purpose today: to provide non-commissioned services and former members of the Armed Forces and their families a contented and gracious base for their visits to London.
Location: London (Central London)
